Qwetu Aberdare Heights is an upscale student residence developed by Acorn Holdings along USIU Road in Ruaraka, northern Nairobi, about 50 metres from the United States International University (USIU-Africa) campus and Pan Africa Christian University. The complex holds roughly 697 beds across twin, cluster, single and premium rooms, all furnished and self-contained. Under a nomination agreement, USIU-Africa refers its students to Qwetu, which in turn supports several university programmes. Residents enjoy WiFi, shared lounges, a gym, study spaces, convenience retail, laundry and 24/7 security. The building was designed to EDGE energy-efficiency certification. The second phase, Aberdare Heights II, was sold in late 2023 for about KES 1.48 billion, underscoring the value of Acorn's purpose-built student housing model. Monthly rents range from roughly KES 19,000 for a twin room to over KES 32,000 for a premium room.
