About the project

Qejani Karen is an affordable student residence developed by Acorn Holdings, through its subsidiary Spruce Properties, along Bogani Road in the leafy Karen suburb of south-western Nairobi. Built with an investment of about KES 1.9 billion, the complex offers roughly 810 Qejani beds right next to the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and several other institutions such as Africa Nazarene University, Multimedia University, the Kenya School of Law and JKUAT's Karen campus. Qejani is Acorn's affordable brand, complementary to the mid-market Qwetu: it provides furnished, functional rooms at more accessible rates while keeping the core services (security, WiFi, common areas, laundry). Qejani-brand rents start around KES 12,500 per month. The concept addresses the acute shortage of quality student housing in the Kenyan capital.
