Wings Office Complex

The Wings Office Complex consists of two Grade A office towers located at 17a Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, Lagos, on the lagoon waterfront area. The development totals roughly 27,000 sqm of lettable office space, or approximately 290,000 sq ft according to Wikipedia's conversion. Delivered in the first quarter of 2017, it was constructed by Cappa & D'Alberto Plc, a firm founded in 1932 and described as Nigeria's oldest Italian construction company. Energy group Oando, a partner associated with the project, established its Lagos head office here and commissioned the building on 3 April 2018 in the presence of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources. Oando stated at the time that the complex was designed to house all its Lagos staff and replace its previously leased offices.

Each tower is served by four high-speed passenger lifts with a twelve-person capacity. Parking is provided by a three-level integrated car park. The complex's official website states capacity for approximately 700 bays, which represents a ratio of two bays per 100 sqm of lettable area. The ground floor houses retail units and a restaurant catering to both occupants and visitors.

The primary use is commercial office space. In addition to Oando, a press release dated 4 April 2018 mentioned Ericsson and RMB Bank among the tenants at that time. The same document describes an indoor event space for approximately 300 people and an outdoor waterfront area for around 200 people. Both spaces are fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the broad Lagos waterway.

Road access is via Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, an artery running through Victoria Island's business district that the official website describes as a newly upgraded four-lane route. A private jetty on the lagoon provides an additional secondary water entry point. This dual accessibility by road and water is still relatively uncommon today.

On the technical side, Oando's 2018 press release notes central cooling, continuous 24-hour power supply, ventilation delivering filtered fresh air at a minimum rate of eight litres per person per second, and lighting equipped with occupancy and daylight sensors. External cladding is designed to limit direct solar gain, while building acoustics aim to minimize noise. Floor-to-ceiling windows at the four corners of the floor plates ensure that workstations remain well within reach of natural daylight.

The exact number of floors varies between available sources. Oando's 2018 press release describes two twelve-storey buildings. Wikipedia lists them as fifteen-storey towers overall. Some sources attribute a green building certification to the complex, though no specific label or certifying body is formally confirmed. Rental rates or sale terms are not published by the developer : prospective tenants or buyers must request these details directly from Cappa & D'Alberto or from the building management.
