Landmark Village
Lagos's beachfront business, leisure and lifestyle destination

About the project
Landmark Village is a large 38,000 sqm mixed-use development by Landmark Africa along the Atlantic beachfront in Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos. Conceived as an ultramodern business, leisure and lifestyle destination, it aims to emulate iconic districts such as Rosebank in Johannesburg, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, or Canary Wharf in London. The first phase is complete and includes the Landmark Events Centre, the largest purpose-built event venue in Lagos, the first and only Hard Rock Cafe in West Africa, the Oriental-themed Shiro restaurant, a Filmhouse IMAX cinema and Landmark Beach. The scheme also comprises an office tower, a retail boulevard and a Renaissance hotel by Marriott. This precinct draws between 50,000 and 60,000 visitors weekly and ranks among the most visited leisure destinations in the city. The project has created several thousand jobs and stands as a major economic and tourism engine for Lagos. Landmark Village continues to expand around its beachfront core.
