Landmark Retail Boulevard

Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria

The retail spine of the Landmark Village waterfront

About the project

Landmark Retail Boulevard is the retail component of the large Landmark Village scheme, a 38,000 sqm mixed-use development built by Landmark Africa along the Atlantic waterfront of Victoria Island, Lagos. Conceived to rival destinations such as Rosebank in Johannesburg, the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town and Canary Wharf in London, the site brings together business, leisure and lifestyle by the beach. The retail boulevard lines up shops, dining and pedestrian promenades within a lively walkable environment, next to an already operational hub that includes the Landmark Events Centre, the largest event centre in Lagos, West Africa's first Hard Rock Cafe and the Shiro restaurant. Design and engineering were entrusted to ANA Design Studio. The complex, one of the most visited leisure destinations in Lagos, draws up to 55,000 visitors a week and will eventually host the Waterview luxury residences, a Renaissance hotel by Marriott and over 20,000 sqm of office space.
