About the project

Gateway East is a new office and lifestyle development launched by Attacq at Waterfall City, Midrand. The project spans about 12,613 m² for a development cost of roughly R359.2 million and offers close to 10,000 m² of gross lettable area with around 90% floor efficiency. It combines flexible office space, collaboration hubs and a mix of independently operated restaurants, designed to animate this new gateway to the precinct. The development offers direct access to two of the country's busiest highways, proximity to three major airports including O.R. Tambo International, and sits minutes from the Midrand Gautrain station. Under construction, Gateway East is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of Attacq's 2027 financial year. It forms part of a broader multi-billion-rand investment programme to continue transforming Waterfall City, an urban precinct of over 527,000 m² already valued at about R14 billion.
