About the project
Deloitte's new Africa headquarters, this ultra-modern Waterfall City office building brings together about 42,500 m² across a ground floor and six office levels, with four basement parking levels totalling nearly 2,000 bays. Designed to accommodate close to 5,000 people, it consolidates Deloitte's previously dispersed teams into a single location. Jointly developed by Atterbury and Attacq under a 50/50 joint venture, the building represents a development cost of over R1 billion and targets LEED environmental certification. It sits on the Allandale interchange of the N1 highway at the eastern gateway to Waterfall City. Operational from April 2020, the building was subsequently acquired by South Africa's public pension fund (PIC/GEPF) in a deal of about R1.7 billion. Its location offers direct access to Gauteng's main routes, the Midrand Gautrain station and three airports including O.R. Tambo International.
