About the project
The Silmiougou site is a serviced-plot subdivision developed by SONATUR, Burkina Faso's national urban land development company, in the Ouagadougou commune. About 400 plots are offered for sale as part of a large national campaign by SONATUR across Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso and Ouahigouya. Subscriptions were held online on the official platform souscription.sonatur.bf from 28 to 31 October 2025. At Silmiougou, standard residential plots are priced at 26,000 FCFA/m² and corner plots at 28,000 FCFA/m². Commercial plots cost more, from 40,000 to 55,000 FCFA/m² depending on location and road type. Each subscriber pays a 50,000 FCFA file fee per plot, with a minimum down payment of 30% for residential and 40% for commercial plots. The operation aims to provide secure, serviced land within a planned urban framework.
