Les Residences Caraibes
Kounda new town by the sea, near Pointe-Noire

About the project
Les Résidences Caraïbes is a new town developed by Maisons Sans Frontières Congo (MSF Congo) at Kounda, about 15 minutes from central Pointe-Noire, reached via the new coastal road or National Route 5 before the Louango toll. Spread over more than 500 hectares, the programme plans several batches of houses and villas of varying standing, aligned with Pointe-Noire's master plan. Beyond housing, it is designed as a full living hub with major retailers, a cinema, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, sports complexes, shops, schools, hospitals, places of worship, leisure areas and a wildlife park. The layout combines a tertiary zone of buildings and a residential zone of standing villas, built to international standards and integrated with the environment. Some presentations cite several thousand homes ultimately and a seafront setting facing the port. Work is still at the infrastructure and early-construction stage. Precise figures should be confirmed with the developer.
