Complexe BIMÉ
1,200 homes on 150 ha at Mont-Barnier, Brazzaville

About the project
The BIMÉ residential complex, developed by Maisons Sans Frontières Congo (MSF Congo), is a large 1,200-home project in the northern suburb of Brazzaville, at Mont-Barnier, about fifteen minutes from the city centre. The programme spans a 150-hectare estate and offers various villa types. Because of the site's challenging terrain, the primary and secondary roads leading to the complex's business sector or downtown follow curved routes that fit the land. The complex is equipped with water, electricity and road networks, plus shared amenities including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities and administrative services. A zoological park, public gardens and pedestrian zones complete the development. Construction was scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2014.
