Giuliano De' Medici by Sujimoto is an ultra-luxury residential project by developer Sujimoto on Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, one of the addresses with the highest concentration of wealth in Africa. The scheme comprises eight exceptional terrace duplexes and two penthouses, with each unit offering five bedrooms, two staff quarters, a study, two kitchens and three parking spaces. The specification is remarkable: full home automation, a private elevator for each apartment, walk-in closets, a private cinema, a world-class gym, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, CCTV surveillance and 24-hour uninterrupted power. Interior finishes are by Porcelanosa, and each apartment includes a vault in the master suite, backed by a five-year warranty. Delivered and quickly sold out, the project showed strong appreciation potential: a unit bought off-plan at around 320 million naira later resold for close to 480 million. Giuliano illustrates Sujimoto's positioning in Lagos's very high-end residential segment.
