Galaxy Andraharo

Galaxy Andraharo is a business district developed by First Immo (FIMMO) in the Andraharo commercial zone of Antananarivo, in the highlands of Madagascar, near the city centre. The development brings together several modular office buildings known as Kubes, designed to provide flexible floor plates for companies. These buildings sit within a landscaped environment where gardens and a tree-lined pedestrian walkway connect the different areas. The whole functions as an urban ecosystem combining workspaces, retail and shared infrastructure.

The site hosts the headquarters of Bank of Africa, inaugurated in Andraharo on 10 December 2019, and the headquarters of Jovena, a Malagasy petroleum distributor, located in the KUBE Complex Building A within the Galaxy zone. This concentration of corporate headquarters reflects the district's role as a cluster for major national companies seeking modern offices grouped in a single business hub.

First Immo has implemented several eco-responsible measures across the zone. Gardens between the Kubes feature vegetation selected for its suitability to the local climate. A rainwater harvesting system feeds the irrigation of these green spaces. A tree-lined pedestrian walkway allows people to move between buildings on foot. The site also provides electric-vehicle charging stations and a selective waste-sorting programme run in partnership with local startup STCV.

The second phase of the programme, named Skyline, is an office building under construction targeting EDGE certification. The label, created by the International Finance Corporation in 2014, requires at least a 20 % reduction in energy use, water consumption and embodied energy in materials compared with local standard practice. According to First Immo's portal, Skyline is presented as a 35,000 m² commercial project linked to the year 2028. The building aims to provide office floors that meet international standards for sustainable construction and energy performance.

Galaxy Andraharo sits in the Andraharo district, an area where several corporate headquarters and office buildings are concentrated in Antananarivo. The district gathers bank headquarters, multinational corporations and recent office buildings. Andraharo hosts several banks and large corporations that have established headquarters away from the congested historic centre while remaining connected to the city's main roadways. Its location close to the city centre places it among the districts carrying a significant share of tertiary activities in the Malagasy capital.

First Immo is a Malagasy property developer based in Andraharo. Active for more than 25 years in residential construction and corporate real estate, the group holds ISO 9001-2015 certification and is a member of the Axian Group. Its portal states that it manages more than 300,000 m² of built surface and nine projects across Antananarivo, specialising in sustainable offices, retail and industrial spaces.
