Tinja Resort
300-ha Emaar Atlantic-front resort near Tangier
About the project
Tinja Resort is a large tourism and residential development by Emaar Morocco, designed to boost the appeal of the Tangier region. Spread over roughly 300 hectares about thirty kilometres southwest of Tangier, the site enjoys a remarkable natural setting with nearly 3 km of beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. The programme, presented as an upscale residential district, planned around 2,500 homes across several clusters, two classified hotels, a lively town centre with shops and sports clubs, and an 18-hole golf course covering 77 hectares. The announced investment was close to 12 billion dirhams. The project faced a difficult path and delays, but Emaar launched the marketing of villas on the site.
