About the project

Muscovado is a next-generation office building at the heart of the Anahita Beau Champ smart city, developed by the Alteo Group on Mauritius' east coast. The building is the full rehabilitation of a former Deep River Beau Champ sugar-factory structure; its name honours muscovado sugar, which originated on the site, and its industrial past. Muscovado offers ready-to-use flexible office spaces from 16 to 400 sqm, with dedicated parking, nearby services and retail, and direct access to the future M4 motorway. Designed to demanding international standards, it targets WELL and EDGE certifications, marks of comfort, workplace health and environmental efficiency. Move-in is possible from October 2026, and the building will notably host the future headquarters of the Alteo Group, which will relocate its teams there from 2026. Set in an estate blending golf, lagoons and preserved rural landscapes, Muscovado offers a rare workplace at the crossroads of Mauritian industrial heritage and an exceptional natural environment.
