Appolonia City
941-hectare master-planned new city near Accra

About the project
Appolonia City is a world-class new city developed by Rendeavour, Africa's largest new-city builder, in partnership with the chiefs and community of Appolonia. Spanning 2,325 acres (about 941 hectares) between Oyibi and Afienya in Greater Accra, it lies roughly 15 minutes from Adenta on the capital's growth corridor. Conceived as a mixed-use, mixed-income project, it integrates residential communities, commercial and retail districts, a light industrial park and social amenities: schools, healthcare facilities and family parks. Core infrastructure (electricity, water, underground drainage, tarred roads) is in place and all local and national regulatory approvals have been secured. Several products are already on the market: Nova Ridge plots, The Oxford Homes, Adumuah Place offices, Wala Park and the Appolonia Industrial Park. Launched in 2012, with first infrastructure completed by 2015, the city ultimately targets some 100,000 residents and 30,000 daily visitors. Professional urban governance manages the whole development.
