SOCOGIB

The Société de Construction et de Gestion Immobilière du Burkina (SOCOGIB SA) is a real estate development company based in Ouagadougou. It operates in land development and housing construction in Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso. The company is part of the Aliz group, which also includes AZIMMO.

According to a right of reply from the Aliz group dated 2 December 2024, SOCOGIB was earmarked for privatization in 1991 and acquired by AZIMMO in 2001 together with all its liabilities. The same document states that developments carried out after this privatization include the Nioko, Yagma, Balkouy and Ouaga 2000 areas.

Since 3 September 2026, the real estate liabilities of SOCOGIB have been subject to an online census by the National Agency for the Management and Recovery of Seized or Confiscated Assets (ANAGRASC), mandated by the prosecutor of Faso at the high court of Ouaga 1. Buyers of land or housing who have not received their definitive administrative documents can register on the platform passif-immobilier.anagrasc.gov.bf by providing the required details about their property and purchase history.
