Vipingo Development is a planned coastal city built by Centum Real Estate (Centum Investment PLC group) at Vipingo, Kilifi County, on Kenya's coast between Mombasa and Malindi. The masterplan covers 10,254 acres and is designed as a model integrated East African urban node, structured into residential, industrial (SEZ, EPZ, industrial park) and CBD zones along the Mombasa-Malindi Highway, with road, air and sea access. The offer is broad: serviced residential and industrial plots (from about KES 3M), studio to three-bedroom apartments (from about KES 2.45M) and homes and maisonettes (from about KES 15.5M). Over 500 units are already delivered and around 220 under construction across several sub-projects (Awali Estate, 1255 Palm Ridge, Kingswood Serviced Plots, Riviera townhouses, Vipingo Investment Park). Infrastructure and amenities are outstanding: a 3 million litre/day seawater desalination plant, a dedicated power substation, boreholes, 24-hour security backed by police patrols, a marina, jetty and floating restaurant, sea and lakefront promenades, parks, golf, schools, a hospital and a mall within 3.5 minutes' drive.
