The group was approached in 2005 by Standard Bank to acquire the Old Belmont Hotel, an iconic landmark in Ceres. Residential development rights were secured and 53 plots of the fourth phase have been fenced and are ready for development. The first 13 houses of phase 1 are in the final design stage and will be submitted to the planning department at the end of 2017. The planned houses are 2‑ and 3‑bedroom multi‑story dwellings with a garage and carport, expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
