About the project
The Smart City Model project was launched in the MMSEZ special economic zone in Musina Makhado. It created a governance model for smart cities and integrated fourth industrial revolution technologies into spatial planning. A sustainable urban systems framework and smart mobility infrastructure were designed. Digital economy development zones were established, incorporating climate resilience measures.
