Regimanuel Gray Satellite City
17,000-home satellite city near East Legon Hills

About the project
Regimanuel Gray Satellite City is a large new-town development led by Regimanuel Gray Limited (founded 1991) on a 1,200-acre estate near East Legon Hills, Accra. Unveiled in late 2023 and spearheaded by Group Vice Chairman Mrs Regina Botchwey, the project plans 17,000 homes across ten distinct communities, including a light-industrial enclave, built progressively 'one community at a time.' The estate is bordered to the south by East Legon Hills, west by the Adenta-Oyibi Highway, east by Katamanso and north by Amrahia township. The development model relies on meticulous planning, land acquired well in advance and major infrastructure investment before house construction: over 15 km of arterial roads including a dual carriageway, a 33 KVA substation with 11 KVA distribution lines (ECG), gated communities with access control, and schools and health facilities within a 5 km radius. It is managed by Regimanuel Gray Estate Management Company Ltd. The site sits 25 minutes from Kotoka International Airport and 45 minutes from the CBD. An installment payment plan is available. Full completion is estimated by 2035, addressing Ghana's estimated 1.8 million housing deficit.
