The 400-home Bambilor Programme is a social housing operation launched by Senegal's national housing company, SN HLM, on 14 October 2025. Built on a 30-hectare site in the Bambilor area, about thirty kilometres from Dakar and five minutes from Lac Rose, it offers 400 F3, F4 and MS4 villas ranging from 150 to 200 m². Prices start at 22 million FCFA for F3 units. The scheme targets affordability: households earning under 400,000 FCFA a month are eligible, including informal-sector workers, traders and the self-employed. Payment terms are eased, with monthly instalments of 70,000 to 90,000 FCFA until full ownership. Financing rests on a partnership between SN HLM and the Islamic Bank of Senegal (BIS). Construction is planned over roughly 14 months. Bambilor stands out for its peaceful setting, good access and strong appreciation potential.
