Munyaka
The largest man-made lagoon in the southern hemisphere

About the project
Munyaka is Balwin Properties' flagship development in Waterfall, Midrand, a R9 billion investment announced in 2020. The estate will ultimately comprise around 5,020 apartments arranged around a lifestyle centre and the largest man-made lagoon in the southern hemisphere, a Crystal Lagoon with crystal-clear turquoise water for swimming and water sports. Homes, from one to three bedrooms, are delivered turnkey with full appliances (fridge, stove, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher), a Scandinavian-style kitchen, balcony or patio and prepaid water and electricity meters, all fibre-ready. Two ultra-luxury penthouses with 180-degree lagoon views, plus premium lagoon-facing units, round out the offering. Ideally located in Waterfall between Sandton and Pretoria, Munyaka blends security, resort living and connectivity to Gauteng's economic hubs.
