About the project
Millennium City Estate is a housing project developed by Urban Shelter in Kaduna, designed on a Site & Services model to ease access to comfortable, affordable homes for all strata of society, especially low-income earners. The estate offers serviced plots of 450 to 900 sqm, with a flexible payment plan allowing instalments over up to two years. The site benefits from quality infrastructure: internal asphalt roads, a comprehensive concrete stormwater drainage system, recreation areas, electrification with dedicated transformers, and a water network fed by the public mains and supplemented by boreholes. In 2024, Kaduna Governor Uba Sani inaugurated, in partnership with Urban Shelter, a large 200-hectare programme within New Millennium City aimed at reducing the state's housing deficit and housing vulnerable and underserved communities. The project is part of Millennium City's emergence as Kaduna's new real estate hub.
