About the project

Masa Centre, located at Masa Square in Gaborone's New CBD, is billed as Botswana's first mixed-use development. Developed by RDC Properties, it is defined by two twin towers framing a central piazza. The first tower houses a ground-floor retail and dining gallery, a five-theatre cinema complex with 3D capability, premium offices on floors 1 to 7 and serviced apartments. The second tower is home to a luxury business hotel, the Protea Hotel by Marriott Masa Square, opened in April 2020, with 152 rooms and 30 extended-stay apartments. The complex offers two levels of secure underground parking, 24-hour security, full air-conditioning and A-grade finishes. Through its striking architecture and its mix of retail, leisure, offices, residences and hospitality, Masa Centre has become an urban landmark in Gaborone's CBD. RDC Properties has also based its Botswana head office there.
