About the project
Greenwood City is a major mixed-use development valued at around KSh 3.7 billion, delivered by Fusion Capital Limited in the heart of Meru, central Kenya. The project combines a 30,000 sqm shopping mall housing a supermarket, banking halls and eateries, a 16,000 sqm upscale office block, and 53 two- and three-bedroom apartments. Financed partly through Fusion Capital's D-REIT and by UK and Finnish investors alongside local land partners, the development raised over KSh 800 million to complete its mall. Opened to the public from late 2022, Greenwood City Mall has become the region's primary shopping and lifestyle hub, drawing around 80,000 visitors a month across an estimated catchment population of 1.5 million. The project reflects Fusion Capital's ambition to develop landmark real estate assets in Kenya's secondary cities.
