About the project

El Medina Center is a landmark mixed-use project by the Hasnaoui Group of Companies, built in the heart of Sidi Bel Abbès, the investor's hometown. Set on about one hectare, the contemporary complex brings together two fully independent spaces: an upscale residential complex and a commercial and leisure destination. The residential side comprises 180 apartments across six R+9 blocks, served by a 220-space car park. The retail hub — the wilaya's first shopping mall, inaugurated on 20 September 2025 — offers retail units, a large-format store, a food court and play and entertainment areas for the whole family, plus a dedicated 109-space car park. Investor Hasnaoui, a Sidi Bel Abbès native, negotiated directly with the Carrefour group to bring a Carrefour Market into the center. El Medina Center establishes itself as a new space for living and conviviality, actively contributing to the region's economic and social development. The Hasnaoui Group is a leading Algerian industrial and real-estate player.
