About the project
Cite des Corossols is a housing program developed by SN HLM (Societe Nationale des Habitations a Loyer Modere) in Ndiakhirate, on Dakar's eastern outskirts. The project comprises 357 houses under construction, in several typologies (TE2, TE3, E4, MS4, MS5) to meet varied needs in a secure, modern setting. SN HLM funded the construction of model homes from its own resources to showcase the program to future buyers. Cite des Corossols is part of Senegal's national social-housing policy aimed at expanding the supply of affordable homes around Dakar. Ndiakhirate, in the Rufisque area, is undergoing rapid urbanization driven by new housing programs.
