About the project
Beau Plan Smart City is Novaterra's flagship project, a subsidiary of Terra Group, in the north of Mauritius. Developed over about 230 hectares of former sugarcane fields, next to the famous Pamplemousses botanical garden and ten minutes from the northern lagoons, it places art, culture and creativity at the heart of its vision. The masterplan, designed with Arup, provides for more than 1,750 residential units, a business district of 540,000 sqm of high-end offices, plus wide retail, leisure and education offerings. The Live, Work, Play, Learn, Create concept shapes this new sustainable district. The Mahogany Shopping Promenade is already operational, hosting brands such as Decathlon, Intermart, Attitude and Investec. With direct access to the Terre-Rouge-Verdun highway and close to Mapou's international schools, Beau Plan is Smart City Scheme eligible and opens new economic prospects for the Pamplemousses region.
