The New Social Living Development Ltd (NSLD) is a subsidiary of the National Housing Development Co. Ltd (NHDC) and a special purpose vehicle incorporated as a private company. Its mandate is to build 12,000 residential units in Mauritius, focusing on affordable social housing, inclusive communities, and sustainable urban planning. NSLD aims to deliver modern, well‑equipped housing with proper infrastructure and green spaces. The company collaborates with professional partners and civil society to co‑create this new social living environment.
